Thinner Technical Specialist

Work closely with the Sales Department to identify customer needs and propose suitable thinner formulations or alternatives.

Provide technical advice, product recommendations, and on-site support to customers in the coatings, adhesive, and cleaning industries.

Conduct product demonstrations, performance evaluations, and joint customer visits with sales representatives.

Handle customer complaints or product issues by investigating causes, conducting lab tests, and providing corrective actions or reformulation suggestions.

Assist Sales in preparing product presentations, datasheets, and technical literature for customer use.

Support internal QC and production teams to ensure consistent product quality aligned with customer expectations.

Monitor competitor products, market trends, and regulatory developments to provide feedback for product improvement or new product introduction.

Conduct training sessions for the sales team to enhance technical understanding of thinner and solvent applications Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Quantity: 01 people Graduated from College and above with major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or relevant fields. Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documents in English Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc. Solid understanding of thinner for Ink/ Packaging/ Paint industry. Knowledge of chemical safety standards and documentation (e.g., MSDS, TDS, COA). Ability to blend thinner formulations according to specified ratios and evaluate physical properties (evaporation rate, viscosity, solubility). Skilled in operating laboratory equipment and industrial mixing systems. Basic proficiency in reading and understanding technical documents in English. Capable of writing technical reports and documenting testing processes. Strong technical problem-solving skills, including case study analysis and root cause investigation. Having at least 1 year of experience in solvents, thinners, or industrial chemicals is an advantage.
