R&D Mechanical Engineer

JOB SUMMARY Handle product improvement and verification activities in support for the manufacturing of power tools in collaboration with cross-border/cross-functional teams. KEY

RESPONSIBILITIES:AND AUTHORITIES 1. Provide engineering support to production according to designated scope and procedures.set by CPT. 2. Follow up CIP projects from ideation to implementation in mass production. 3. Work with multiple teams (quality, lab, supplier…) to test, evaluate and validate new components or products. 4. Facilitate project flow, including regular contact with other functional team members. 5. Keep track of project schedule and ensure the adherence to milestones; keep management informed on project issues. 6. Interact with suppliers to develop part/product specifications that meet performance

requirements:and ensure on-time delivery. 7. Involve in failure analysis activities; work with Engineering, SQE, suppliers to develop solution and follow up the implementation. 8. Update engineering documents include CAD drawing, BOM, ECO, SER, etc. and follow up for review and release. 9. Provide support to ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management. This position will be based in Cu Chi Factory. Shuttle bus from District 1,9,10,11,12/Go Vap/Tan Binh/Hoc Mon/Thu Duc; Binh Duong; Dong Nai are available.

Education: Engineering degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or related fields.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Familiar with the product evaluation and validation process.

Good at GD&T, 2D, and 3D CAD (NX, ProE).

Experience in BOM management and engineering change processes.

Knowledge of PCBA or motor manufacturing and diagnosis is a plus.

Familiar with product safety approval such as HSF and RoHS.

Good computer skills, familiar with ERP (SAP, Oracle) and PLM Project Management.

Engineering Change Management.

Product Qualification and Validation.

Good English communication, verbal and written.

Being able to communicate in Mandarin is a strong plus.

Good presentation and reporting skills.

Able to work under pressure, self-initiative, and team player.
