Project Manager (Banking/Financial Domain)

We are seeking a versatile and strategic leader to fill the role of Financial Project Manager (PM) to spearhead our financial services business expansion across Southeast Asia.

Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale financial system upgrade/modernization projects as the on-site Delivery PM. Delivery Governance: Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and quality benchmarks while orchestrating cross-functional teams (Bank stakeholders, regional sub-contractors, and solution vendors). Risk & Cutover Management: Mitigate critical implementation risks, manage multi-vendor dependencies, and execute production cutover/go-live playbooks. Business Development & Origination: Proactively identify market trends, discover new bidding opportunities, and shape consulting/SI proposals for banks in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields). Financial SI Track Record: 8+ years of professional experience in the banking/financial IT sector Banking Domain Expertise: Deep functional understanding of banking domains (e.g., Retail, Corporate, Digital Banking, Core Ledger, or Payments). People & Vendor Management: Exceptional ability to govern multi-vendor environments and lead diverse, cross-border delivery teams in Southeast Asia. Methodology & Tools: Proficient in both traditional (Waterfall) and modern (Agile/Scrum/Hybrid) project governance models. Communication & Mobility: Fluent in English with excellent C-level stakeholder management skills Readiness for regional travel/short-term relocation within ASEAN countries. Nice to have: Core Banking Package Experience: Hands-on experience with major global core banking platforms is highly preferred (e.g., Temenos T24, Oracle FLEXCUBE, etc.). Regional Network: Prior experience leading financial IT initiatives or building business networks within Vietnam and neighboring ASEAN countries. Professional Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or certified Business Architect credentials. Cloud & Infrastructure Awareness: Familiarity with cloud-based financial deployments (AWS, Azure) and modern microservices architecture.
