EHS Engineer

Managing the Equipment Sign Off Process Managing safety programs such as Control of Hazardous Energies, Electrical safety, Confined space, Fall Protection Hazards Supporting ATM Safety Training as needed Support emergency planning and preparedness; for example, drills, evacuation maps, assembly Represents EHS during ATM meetings, such as readiness and operational meetings Examining plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment, facilities, to determine if appropriate safety precautions have been included Responsible for touring the factory to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations Facilitate job hazard analysis (JHA) for tools/machines, both existing and new tools.

Investigating occupational incidents to minimize recurrence

Minimum Qualification Skills (Must Have Skills): Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or other EHS-related degrees. 2 - 3 years of working experience in the EHS field. (1- 3 yrs experience in the semiconductor industry or international companies is preferred). Preferred Qualification Skills (Nice to Have Skills): Good interpersonal skills and team player. Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger team Strong communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation Ability to solve complicated problems Values safety for yourself and others around you
