Database Administrator

SALARY Up to 38.000.000 VND SOCOTEC VIETNAM is a technical support platform for the SOCOTEC GROUP providing expert services on a range of projects in testing, inspection and certification (TIC) in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Around the globe, more than 14,000 experts in 26 countries across 5 continents deliver professional services in construction, buildings & real estate, infrastructures, environment & safety and certification. We are currently expanding our SOFTWARE & IT SERVICES and are looking for a Database Administrator to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality projects to our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Work in a structured and methodical manner following industry best practices Be supportive and open to change and contribute to continuous improvement and evolution of the development team function Help advice l1/l2 support analysts Ensuring seamless database operations across various environments Implementing and maintaining database maintenance tasks Ensuring performance and general database optimisations Providing support to database related support issues Helping with TSQL, PSQL and MySQL Scripting Reviewing Data and data related

requirements:Engaging in strategic capacity and architecture planning

REQUIREMENTS:Either a degree or foundational course that covers object orientated programming Demonstratable experience of development. Either some time in industry or personal projects Experience working with MS SQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL Proven track record in SQL database performance tuning Experience working with development and support teams Database design & development Knowledge of Python, MongoDB, Data Lakehouse, Airflow and Kafka are advantageous.
