About GRT & The Role The host company is a Singapore-based venture catalyst that builds and connects ecosystems across education, technology, and industry in Southeast Asia. This role sits in a Business Unit that curates immersive cross-border learning experiences in Southeast Asia. We work with schools and corporate partners to embed students inside real companies and real market environments through curated study trips, internships, and field projects, so students learn to operate across cultures and borders. In this role, you will support building the pipeline of Vietnam institutions for Singapore-based study trip programmes. This is a frontline business development support role focused on research, structuring, and qualifying institutional opportunities in Vietnam. Key
Responsibilities:Market & Institutional Research
Research International and Vietnam schools and universities suitable for inbound Vietnam study trips and internship programmes.
Segment institutions by type, student profile, and overseas learning objectives.
Identify decision-makers such as School Leadership, International Office heads, Faculty Deans, and Programme Directors.
Build structured lead lists with rationale for prioritization. Pipeline Building & Lead Qualification
Use public sources, institutional websites, LinkedIn, and Vietnamese networks to gather contact information.
Prepare background briefs on institutions before outreach or meetings.
Propose which institutions should be prioritised for outreach based on your research.
Support mapping of institutional approval processes and budgeting cycles where possible. Opportunity & Tender Research Support
Support monitoring of public tender portals and institutional announcements for relevant opportunities.
Compile summaries of tender

Maintain a tracker of tender deadlines and sources. CRM, Tracking & Documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead tracking sheets / CRM.
Track outreach status, follow-ups, and responses.
Document patterns from BD conversations, including objections and common questions.
Ensure clean handover of qualified opportunities to the supervisor and operations team. Business Development & Meeting Support
Prepare pitch materials, reference decks, and briefing notes for outreach.
Qualify and shortlist leads with clear rationale before handover to the BD team.
Compile concise background briefs on each qualified lead to support follow-up.
Ensure clean and structured handover of information for outreach and meetings. Market Feedback & Insights
Summarise institutional interest trends, pricing sensitivity, and programme themes.
Identify patterns in Vietnamese institutional decision cycles.
Provide structured insights to refine positioning for Singapore programmes. Programme Support
Support on-ground programme logistics and operations when needed (e.g. welcome briefings, group facilitation, programme planning, location site check, sourcing vendors, visa application, … ). What You Will Learn By the end of the internship, you will understand:

Ideal Candidate Profile
Excellent communication skills in English. Experience in MC-ing, facilitation, student leadership, or public speaking is advantageous.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese.
Strong ability to independently research, identify, and qualify potential leads and institutional opportunities using public sources, databases, and online platforms.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, documents, and basic CRM tools.
Curious about business development, sales, and partnerships.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
Interest in education, international programmes, or cross-border business.
Comfortable with occasional evening or weekend work during programme runs.
Able to travel domestically and internationally to support programme delivery.
